Thanksgiving to Go
Time Frame: primarily September - November
Volunteers would serve on a committee which manages distribution of resources to families for a hearty Thanksgiving meal. You choose your level of involvement.
Unsheltered in Summit
Time Frame: Throughout the year
Volunteers would serve on a committee which mananges the Summit Safe Parking Program and other efforts concerned with housing issues in Summit County. You choose your level of involvement. Sign up below.
The Summit Safe Parking Program provides safe overnight parking for employed
people who use their vehicles as their homes. For a small monthly fee, Unsheltered provides a safe lot, trash pickup and a portalet. Members become part of the program through an in-depth application and interview process which includes agreeing to a code of conduct and signing a waiver of responsibility. Board Member of Interfaith Council
Time Frame: Meetings are the third Wednesday each month.
Volunteers would serve on a board which oversees the activities of the Council. Particular need for marketing/website expertise. You choose your level of involvement.
